Regenia Ann Owenby Goss

Mrs. Regenia Ann Owenby Goss, age 81 of Toccoa, GA took her last breath on earth and exhaled in Heaven on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Hiawassee, GA, a daughter of the late William (Bill) and Willene Denton Owenby, having lived most of her life in Toccoa. She was preceded in death by a sister, June Owenby, a brother, Billy Owenby: and a nephew, Keith Owenby.

Regenia was a devoted wife, loving mother and nana, and was a devoted pastors wife serving alongside her husband The Reverend Ralph Goss for the last 32 years. She has been attending the Hollywood Church of God where they were serving.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years Reverend Ralph Goss of the home; her son Tim Goss and his companion, Tammy Wilkes: her daughter Renee Goss Carswell, and her husband Ricky Carswell, all of Toccoa: four grandchildren: Josh Carswell, and his wife Leah Carswell: Megan Goss Traynor, and her husband Brandon Traynor; Jared Carswell; Ethan Goss; a brother, Jerry Owenby, and his wife Mary Owenby; brother-in-law Johnny Tudor: sister-in-law Jeannie Owenby; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday, February 15, 2021 at the Pointe, with the Reverend Ralph Goss and the Reverend Josh Carswell officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 3 to 5 PM.  Due to the health and well-being of our community, social distancing must be observed. Masks are encouraged.

The following will serve as pallbearers; Rodney Fowler, Jeff Goss, Russell Tudor, Chris Ashe, Justin Owenby, Tracy Goss, Tony Owenby and Brandon Traynor. Honorary Escort will be, Josh Carswell, Jared Carswell and Ethan Goss.

Entombment will be in the Stephens Memorial Mausoleum with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Regenia Owenby Goss.
