Cynda H. Elliott

Mrs. Cynda H. Elliott, 78, of Gainesville passed away February 11, 2021. Cynda was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 18, 1942, the second daughter of the late Andrew and Gladys (Blackstock) Hencely.

She was raised in Tennessee where she received her education, graduating from high school and getting her certification in Radiology Technology. She worked as a Radiology Technician for various hospitals and doctor's offices in Gainesville for over 25 years. Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her husband, George Haspy Elliott, to whom she was married for 47 years.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Brenda Elliott of Dacula, Georgia; sister, June Crossno, Harriman, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Charles Wayne Elliott, Gainesville, Georgia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Margie Smith, Gainesville, Georgia; sister-in-law, Lynn Elliott, Gainesville, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Little and Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Bruce Fields will officiate. Private interment services will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
