Leon Nelson McDuffie

Mr. Leon Nelson McDuffie, age 78, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Bountiful Hills.  Mr. McDuffie was born in Commerce to the late John and Leona Moore McDuffie.  He was retired from Liberty National Insurance and later retired from the United States Postal Service.  In addition to his parents, Mr. McDuffie was preceded in death by his first wife, Joann McCoy McDuffie.

Mr. McDuffie is survived by his second wife, Carolyn Diane Hicks McDuffie of Commerce; daughters, Wendy Thomas of Commerce and Kim Laak of Watkinsville; son, Chad McDuffie of Commerce; sister, Betty McClung of Commerce; brother, Gene McDuffie of Commerce; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, February 12 graveside at Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Manus officiating.  Visitation will be from 11 AM to 4 PM, Thursday, February 11 and 12 noon to 1:30 PM, Friday, February 12 at the funeral home.
