Malcom Henry McPherson

Malcolm Henry McPherson, age 74, departed this life peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2021.

He was born on July 19, 1946 in Memphis, Tennessee.  He was an exceptionally astute businessman, proud Scotsman, avid outdoorsman, and dedicated father.  In his retirement, he found great joy traveling the world with the love of his life, Vicki.  When his health was compromised, he continued to defy all expectations and made a miraculous recovery.  He was a proud grandfather and found joy in nourishing the growth of the next generation of McPhersons.  He loved gardening and birdwatching, and occasionally bickering with the neighbors.      

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry McPherson and Andree Celestine Easley.  Left to celebrate his life and continue to honor his heritage are his wife Vicki, his sons Brian and James McPherson, his grandsons Rhett and Bodhi, his brother Ralph, sister Patricia, and innumerable other family members, friends, and neighbors.

The family will hold an informal visitation and memorial on Saturday, February 13, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  In deference to Covid concerns and restrictions, the family will share pictures and memorial cards with anyone who is not able to attend.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia at https://foodbanknega.org/.
