Jackie Allred Cooley

Obituary Date: Tuesday, February 9, 2021

Jackie Allred Cooley was born on June 28th 1951 in Gainesville Ga. Youngest daughter of Jack and Billie Jean Allred. She was an adoring sister to her brothers Sidney (Debbie) Allred of St. Augustine Fl. and David Allred of Gainesville.  Jackie was a graduate of Gainesville High School class of 69’. Jackie was a loving and devoted wife to Counte Cooley for 23 years, they resided in Gainesville. Jackie was a loving step mother of 3 grown sons, Cory Cooley of Gainesville, Chris (Ana) Cooley of Gainesville and Dallas (Leslie) Cooley of Gainesville. Jackie loved being an aunt to Andy & his wife Kelli Allred, Clay Allred and Niece Amber Allred Woods and her husband Justin.

Jackie was a fun loving grandmother to Coltyn, Caymyn, Carter, Carson and Andrew Cooley often running around the house playing chase or making songs with them to perform for the family. She was the ultimate gift giver and celebrating others came second nature to her. She was warm and compassionate, she found joy in meeting new people. She always lit up a room with her friendly smile.

Jackie loved her friends, she loved to laugh with them.  She found delight in cultivating deep loving lasting relationships.  She and Counte loved to be together whether traveling or running errands, they enjoyed one anothers company. They loved boating on Flawless, coffee, seeing their family over Saturday lunches, being together with their loving friends.

Jackie loved gardening and was renowned for her ability to rejuvenate her orchids ------ while feeding and talking to her red birds every morning, she loved sitting by the ocean and taking in all the beauty that surrounded her.

Jackie served as Vice President of Electronic Sales Company alongside Counte Cooley for 23 years. Jackie, Co-Founded For Her Glory an organization to help cancer patients in need of medical assistance, something very dear to her heart. Every day she prided herself in helping cancer patients in need get instant relief. Jackie also loved serving on the Glory, Hope, & Life board and The Northeast Georgia History Center board ------ helping to preserve the local history including White Path Cabin. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Our family is so grateful to have had her here and been a recipient of her love. We count ourselves blessed that God shared her with us. We take comfort that she heard “well done, good and faithful servant” from her Heavenly Father.
