Ricky Howard Vickery

Mr. Ricky Howard Vickery, age 62 of Old Carnes Creek Road, Toccoa passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A son of the late Hershel and Sara Collins Vickery, he was born June 3, 1958 in Royston, Georgia having lived most all his life in Stephens County. He was retired from Patterson Pump with 34 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Franklin County.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Abigail and Tyler Rohrig and Bridgett Vickery both of Toccoa; grandson, Jace Rohrig; mother of his children, Michelle Vickery of Toccoa; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Debbie Vickery and Roger and Rosie Vickery both of Toccoa; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and James Anderson of Elberton; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 11, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Craig Brown officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Tyler Rohrig, Al Rohrig, James Anderson, Andy Anderson and Tyler Crump.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from noon until the service time. Due to the health and well-being of our community, social distancing must be observed. Interment will follow in the Tugalo Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Ricky Howard Vickery.
