Margie Montgomery Smith

Margie Montgomery Smith, age 73, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wofford and Florence Russell Montgomery; brother, Ernest Ronnie Montgomery; and sister, Martha Montgomery. She is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Newton S. Smith, Sugar Hill, GA; brother, Harry (Wanda) Montgomery, Lawrenceville, GA; nieces, Lori (Clay) Davis, Sheila Montgomery, Linda Beard; nephews, Eddie Dixon, Reggie Dixon; first cousins, Rev. Jimmy (Polly) Strickland, Danny (Peggy) Strickland; and several cousins. Mrs. Smith was born June 10, 1947 in Georgia. She was retired from Office Depot and also worked for the Lovable Company in Buford, GA for many years. She was a member of the Bethesda Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Strickland officiating. Interment will follow at Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lawrenceville, GA.
