Larry “Bullseye” Alexander Carruth was born November 13, 1949 to the late Rosa Johnson and the late Len Randolph. He passed away Friday, February 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Grace Johnson, Sarah Carruth, Dora Dale Carruth, and Judy Johnson.
Mr. Carruth was a 1968 graduate of E.E. Butler High School. He retired from Peachtree Doors in Gainesville. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching television, and sitting on the porch. He will be truly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Carruth joined New Salem Baptist Church in Jefferson, GA. at an early age and later changed membership to Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, GA.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mrs. Linda Cheek Carruth; children, Cheryl (Gathon) King and Alex Carruth; granddaughters, Lauren King and Alexis Carruth; sisters, Gloria Carruth, Jackie (Ronald) Poole; brothers, Jimmy Carruth, Ronald Carruth, and Timothy (Terri) Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 12 pm at Dexter T. Sims Mortuary, LLC in The Rev. Charlie, Jr. and Conchita Sims Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Flowery Branch. Viewing will be Wednesday February 10, 2021 from 2pm-6pm.
