Jasper Louise (Odister) Bell

Mrs. Jasper Louise (Odister) Bell was born on February 3, 1948 in Elbert County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. John Will Odister and the late Mrs. Sarah (Damaris) Brawner Freeman. Mrs. Bell made her transition to eternal life on February 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Raymond Bell; one sister: Mrs. Loat B. Cleveland; and four brothers: Infant J.O. Tate, Mr. Herman Tate, Mr. Jack Wade (J.W.) Tate, and Mr. Harold Tate, grandson; Quatavise T. Fortson.
After graduating from Blackwell Memorial High School in Elberton, Georgia (Class of 1966), she moved to Gainesville, Georgia, where she joined Greater Timber Ridge Baptist Church. She was employed in the textile industry before pursuing her passion in the nursing field. Mrs. Bell enrolled in Athens Technical College (Athens, Georgia) and completed studies at Piedmont College (Clemson, SC). Upon graduation, she was gainfully employed, in the nursing field, for over 30 years to present. She worked throughout North Georgia in many capacities, including hospitals, hospice care, and nursing homes.
To God’s keeping, she leaves one son: Mr. Stacey (Hope) Morrow, Sugar Hill, GA; three daughters: Tonji (Bell) Wright, Ms. Kechia Bell, Ms. Shetika Bell, and Ms. Lindsey Martin, Conyers, GA; one sister: Mrs. Fannie Sue (Ronald) Oliver, Elberton, GA; one brother: Mr. Marion (Sandra) Tate, Gainesville, GA; additional Bell/Brunson Family in- laws; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; special friends, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that loved her and will always cherish her memories. Mrs. Bell's visitations will be held Tuesday, February 16th, 2021 - 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at Wimberly Funeral Home also Tuesday, February 16th, 2021 - 02:00 PM to 06:00 PM - Mack Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 - 02:00 AM - Tate Grove Baptist Church. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
