Henrietta Charlene Hood

Henrietta Charlene Hood, age 69, of Pendergrass, GA passed away February 6, 2021.  Henrietta was born in 1951, to the late Henry and Sarah Green. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. She always looked after her family and made sure they were always taken care of. Henrietta was very friendly and rarely ever met a stranger. She had a caring heart and always offered to help others. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Randal Green; son, Tommy Franklin; and step granddaughter, Elizabeth Day.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Larry Hood; children, Christy Bailey, and Brian (Missy) Bailey; siblings, Elouise Russell, Mary Dispain, Barbara Roland, Lester Green, Juanita Meadows, and Dale Green; granddaughter, Miranda Bailey; and 7 step grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Jack Pilcher, and Rev Shane Pruitt. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
