Mary Ellen Strother

Mrs. Mary Ellen Strother, 74, of Oakwood passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 at New Horizon’s Lanier Park.

Memorial services will be held at a later date with inurnment to be in Pensacola, FL.

Born on August 6, 1946 in Headland, AL, she was the daughter of the late Lafayette and Nellie Pettie Mitchell. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Strother, Sr., son, Harold David Strother Jr. and grandchild, Matthew Dindinger.

Mrs. Strother is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Dana and Mac Nelson of Oakwood, Tammy and Scott Dindinger of Manassas, VA; grandchildren, Tyler Dindinger, Allison Nelson, Ashley Nelson, Ryan Dindinger; sister, Joan Glenda Fowler of Dothan, AL; brother and sister in law, Larry Allen and Wanda Mitchell of Dothan AL.
