Mrs. Lillian Rosado Colon age 63 of Toccoa passed away Thursday February 4, 2021 at Stephens County Hospital.
A daughter of the late Ramiro and Carmen Morales Rosado, she was born April 14, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York having lived most of her life in New York before moving to Georgia. She was employed as a case worker with DFCS and a member of The Pointe Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Colon Jr. in 2018.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law Bianca and Jason Hubble of Toccoa, Desiree Colon of Toccoa and Celine Colon of Georgia, sons and daughters-in-law Joe III and Amber Colon of Toccoa, Christopher and Amber Colon of Buford, Georgia, four grandsons and nine granddaughters, several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday February 8, 2021 at 2 P.M. at the Pointe Church with the Reverend Chad Smith and the Reverend Jerry Chitwood officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 P.M. til 5 P.M. and on Monday from 1 until service time at The Pointe Church.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Kevin Smiley, Kevin Colon, Evan Colon, Mike House, Ron Nesbit, and J.J. Pritchett.
Interment will follow in Roselane Cemetery with the Reverend George Moxley and the Reverend Ray Hamilton officiating.
The family requests that bright colors be worn to the service to celebrate her life.
