Born on September 9, 1949, in Mt. Airy, she was a daughter of the late Joe Ab and Dora Tullis Gosnell. Ms. Baker worked at Mt. Vernon Mills for 43 years and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Ruth Baker.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Kirsten Beasley of Commerce and Mitchell Moore of Homer; great-granddaughter, Vanessa Williams of Commerce; brothers, Bobby Joe Gosnell (Sandra) and Fred A. Gosnell (Ethel), both of Homer; sisters, Bell Ledford of Demorest and Lizzie Gosnell of Cornelia; special niece, Wilma Rider; special friend and caregiver, Victor Pena; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Welborn officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday, February 5, 2021, at the funeral home.
