Suvilla Black

Suvilla Black, age 94, of Sautee, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021.

Mrs. Black was born on May 23, 1926 to the late Benjamin and Carrie Helton Caudell, the youngest of 17 children.  She was the former owner and operator of Dairy Queen and a member of Loudsville United Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents, Suvilla was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Black; daughter, Shelia Black; and many siblings.

Survivors include her grandson, Anthony Guy Smith, Sautee; great-granddaughter, Bailey Nicole Smith-Allen; nieces, Betty Adams and Lillian Mauldin; great niece, Lynette Harper.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Loudsville United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Dr. James Harper will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. – 1:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
