Jacqueline J. Bell Hailey

Jacqueline J. Bell-Hailey was born June 1, 1947, to the late Raymond and the Late Jesse Bell. She was called home to be with the Lord January 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her sons, Mike Morris and Thomas Hailey, Jr.; brothers, Roy Bell, Raymond “Frog” Bell, Nathaniel Bell and Joe Paul Bell; sister, Hattie Bell-Stephens; and brother-in-law, Alton Ellison.

Jacqueline attended Fair Street & E.E. Butler High School. She was a member of Rucker Memorial Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. Jacqueline loved to cook, play cards, and be around family. Most of all, she had a special love for kids.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her grandchildren, Damesha (Kevin) Langston, Unique Morris, Montoious Tanner, Damonta Camp Morris; sisters, Dorothy (Earl) Ivey, Peggy (Raymond) Caliman, Marilyn (John) Chappelle, Carolyn Ellison, Eva Mae Bell, Wanda Ann (Larry) King, Jr. and Donna Bell; brother, Henry (Peggy) Johnson; aunt, Imatean Childers; uncle, Michael (Virginia) Turner; special friends, Minister Mae Dale Varner, and Michael Morris, Sr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday February 5, 2021 at 1pm at Dexter T. Sims Mortuary, LLC in The Rev. Charlie, Jr. and Conchita Sims Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Memorial Gardens, Gainesville.

Viewing will be Thursday February 4, 2021 from 2pm-6pm.
