Lois Walls Brown, age 92, of Sautee, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
Mrs. Brown was born on December 21, 1928, in Hiawassee, Georgia, to the late Lee Walter and Mary Corn Walls. She was the co-owner and operator of Browns Chevron and Grocery, in Helen, GA, and a member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Brown; sons, Lamar Brown and Glen Brown; brothers, Ferman Walls and Forest Walls.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Gary Kennedy, Cleveland; son, Mark Brown, Sautee; grandchildren, Jacqueline Minor (Lamar), Erica Nunnally, Brooke Daw (Will), Adam Kennedy (Brooke); great-grandchildren, Haleigh Minor, Bentley Minor, Maeve Nunnally, Vera Nunnally, Addisyn Daw, Waylon Daw, Kennedy Daw, Canaan Daw, Sawyer Kennedy, and Karsyn Kennedy; sister, Bernice Price; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Danny Jarrard, the Rev. Chris Blocker, and the Honorable Garrison Baker will officiate. Interment will follow at Gateway Memory Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
