Mr. Samuel Phil Ray Jameson, age 71 of Talmadge Drive, Toccoa passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A son of the late William D. and Mary Jane Frady Jameson, he was born March 14, 1949 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived all his life in Habersham County. He was retired from Pepsi Cola Company with 35 years of service. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and the Mt. Airy Masonic Lodge. He loved antique cars and was the best daddy in the whole wide world. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lori Kay Jameson, three brothers, Bill, Knox and John Jameson and three sisters, Ruth Goss, Janie Bell Stowe and Marie Lewallen.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Patricia Meece Jameson; daughter and son-in-law, Kassie Jameson and Edwin Pabon of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Adrianne Jameson of Toccoa, son, adopted by love, Ray Woods; grandchildren, Kay-Lee reared in the home and her fiancé` Vincent, Edwin Nicasio Pabon, Brooklyn Pabon, Annabelle Jameson, Jacob Woods and Tyler Woods; four sisters, Grace Isom and Rosalie Whiten both of Toccoa, Loretta Webb of Dacula and Faye Johnson of Cornelia.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 1, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church with The Reverend Chris Webb and The Reverend David Harbin officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Ricky Woods, Casey Ellenburg, Michael Whiten, Jamie Isom, Roger Jameson, Preston Reiser and David Irvin.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Due to the health and well-being of our community, social distancing must be observed. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites by the Mt. Airy Masonic Lodge.
