Mr. Jack Thomas “Tom” Jones, age 71, of Braselton passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton.
Funeral Mass will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Father Eric Hill will officiate. Masks and social distancing are required. Inurnment will be at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
Mr. Jones was born January 22, 1950 to the late Jack E. & Allene Spurlock Jones in Huntington, West Virginia. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A graduate with a Masters in Pharmacy, he was the co-owner of Apothecare Pharmacy from 1980-2015. After retirement, he did relief work for Eastside Family Pharmacy and Homer Drug Company. He also was a licensed realtor with Metro Brokers-Hamilton Mill.
Tom was a faithful follower of the Georgia Bulldogs, Marshall University Thundering Herd, and Dingers travel baseball team. He enjoyed playing golf, relaxing at the beach, spending time with his family and cheering his grandchildren on in whatever sport they were involved in.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy Jones of Braselton; son & daughter-in-law, Aaron & Carrie Jones of Buford; grandchildren, Colton, Camryn and Jackson; brother, Jim Jones of Huntington, West Virginia; and several special nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Zachary Jones and his parents.
