Billy Lamar Tuck

Mr. Billy Lamar Tuck age 73 of Flowery Branch, Ga passed away on Tuesday January 26, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.        

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday January 29, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Oakwood City Cemetery. Reverend Darryl Womack will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday January 28, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.      

Billy was born on November 11, 1947 at home in Gwinnett County, Georgia to the late Berto Tuck and Louise Waycaster Tuck.  Mr. Tuck is a Vietnam veteran who served in The United States Army for 6 years and was retired from the Local Union 669 where he worked as a pipe fitter and after retirement drove a Motor Coach for 7 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, and father-in-law, Dean Gilstrap. 

Billy is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy Gayle Tuck of Flowery Branch, children and their spouses, David Tuck, CMSgt, USAF (ret) and wife (Lisa) of Bonaire, Ga, Christy Tuck of Haslet, Texas, Julie Slater (Tim) of Gainesville, grandchildren, Hannah Tuck, Maleah Tuck, Keyerra Tuck, Macy Slater, Nathan Slater, brothers, Robert Tuck of Ball Ground, Ga, Arnold Tuck (Jan) of Buford, Ga and mother-in-law, Mary Gilstrap of Gainesville.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
