Shirley Jean Jackson

Shirley Jean Jackson, 65 of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side.  She was born to the late William Lenord and Velma Mae Bowden.  Shirley loved to cook and take care of everyone. She was an avid fan of local Dawsonville stock car racing. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. 

She is preceded in death by her sisters, Mina Brest, Katherine Moon, Carol McFall; brother, William Bowden; son, Dallas Eugene Jackson, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dallas E. Jackson of Dawsonville, GA; children, Kelli Jackson of Monaca, PA, Heather and James Jackson of Dawsonville, GA, Nicole Pittman and Nickolas Sowden of Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren, Wyatt and MaKayla; brother, Charles Bowden; sisters, Gladys Brest, Donna Borrelli all of New Castle, PA; nieces and nephews and many others whose lives she touched also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
