Sonya Eloise Cannon

Sonya Eloise Cannon, age 73, of Gainesville passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Services will be Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Larry Doolittle will officiate. The family will receive friends 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cannon was born March 16, 1947 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Henry Richard & Ada Doolittle.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tara & Egon Herrington of Braselton; son & daughter-in-law, Tim & Michelle Dutton of Braselton; brothers; Jackie Doolittle, Rudolph Doolittle, Lanny Doolittle, Michael Doolittle, and Gerald Doolittle; grandchildren; Brandie Negron, Erik Herrington, Harrison Dutton, Marissa Dutton, and Jason Dutton; great-grandchildren; Aubrey Negron, McKinley Negron, Damon Negron and Emma Herrington; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby R. Cannon; parents; Henry Richard & Ada Doolittle; brothers; Donnie Doolittle and Floyd Doolittle; sisters; Betty Eastmoore and Shiley Lively.
