Ellen B. Braden

Ms.Ellen B. Braden, age 85, of Gainesville, Ga. passed away on Thursday January 14, 2021 at Horizons of Lanier Park.

Family will recieve friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. The Memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 6th, at Memorial Park Funeral Home North Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Drive Gainesville, Georgia 30501.

Ms. Braden was born Sept 17th, 1935. She was one of six children. Mom was a lover of life and was willing to get up and go at the drop of a hat. Mom started her career as a beauty salon owner and was an excellent hair stylist. She won awards at award shows. Mom did hair for over 35 years. She was the best Hairdresser we think there ever was and she was an amazing artist. WOW!!  All of our friends adored our mom. Mom was a jack of all trades there was nothing she wouldn’t do or at least try. Mom loved the Lord with all her heart and she loved her family the same.

Ms.Braden is preceded in death by her Parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Norgan and her Husband Gene Hornak. 

Ms. Braden is survived by her 4 Children, Rick Braden, Randy Braden, Rhonda Caples and Dawn Jarvis; Special Son In-law Brendan Caples, Daughters In-law, Nancy Braden and Betty Armstrong; Her Grandsons Trever Braden, Justin Braden, Walker Gipp and Steven Caples.

Mama we love you and miss you so much. Till we see you again.
