John Henry Shockley

Mr. John Henry Shockley age 70 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Monday January 18, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.    

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday January 23, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 23, 2021 from 1:00-3:.00 p.m. at the funeral home.        

John was born on December 27, 1950 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Charles Kermit Shockley and Eula Lackey Shockley. John worked for Hall County as a Paramedic/ Firefighter for many years.  He is preceded in death by his parents.        

Mr. Shockley is survived by his wife, Susan Dressel Shockley of Gainesville, son, Matthew Shockley of Gainesville, son, Jason Shockley of Gainesville, brother and sister-in-law, Charles Kermit Shockley, Sr. (Joan Hunter) of Gainesville, and sister, Brenda Ledford of Lula.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
