Jack William Orr

Mr. Jack William Orr age 71 of Oakwood, Ga passed away on Monday January 18, 2021 at Ashton Senior Assisted Living Center following an extended illness.  

Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday January 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Oakwood City Cemetery. Reverend Randall Reed will officiate.        

Jack was born on September 06, 1949 In Gainesville, Ga to W.C. Orr and Maudine Lipscombe Orr. He was a disabled veteran of the United States Army and of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his father, his son, Jason William Orr, brother, Bobby Orr.        

Mr. Orr is survived by his son, Michael Shane Orr of Cleveland, mother, Maudine Lipscombe Orr of Lula, grand-daughter, Andrea Gosse (Ryan), grand-son, JohnMichael Orr, siblings, Rachael Banks of Franklin, North Carolina, Carolyn Hilton of Oakwood, Clara Mae Savage of Oakwood, Martha Edge of Oakwood, Mary Rogers of Eastman, Ga, Kathy Baugh of Lula, Billy Orr of Oakwood, Jimmy Orr of Gainesville, Andy Orr of Murrayville, great-grandchildren, Alexander Orr and Savannah Gosse.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
