Jennifer Underwood Hawkins

Jennifer Underwood Hawkins age 37 of Cleveland formerly of Gainesville entered heaven Monday January 18, 2021 at her residence.

Jennifer was born in Gainesville on May 10, 1983 to Gina Whelchel Merck & the late James Anthony Underwood. She was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed and will always be cherished. Her friends and family will always remember her smile, wit and her compassion. She was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church for a number of years. Growing up she was very active in the youth group and loved the friends that surrounded her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest Whelchel, James & Virgina Underwood.

Survivors include, son, Grant Underwood; mother Gina (Tim) Merck; grandmother, Jeanette Whelchel. 

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday Jan.26, 2021 at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Mr. Johnny Mattox and Rev. Doug Collins officiating.

Due to the current pandemic the family requests everyone in attendance wear a mask and social distance.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Chicopee Baptist Church, 13 1st Street Gainesville, GA 30504.
