Becky Higgins Born

Becky Higgins Born, age 77, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away January 18, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Darrell E. Born; parents, Carroll and Reba Hutchins Higgins; sister, Joyce Higgins Cook.  She is survived by her daughter, Angy (Louis) Lamb, Sugar Hill, GA; grandson, Rev. Zachary (Karen) Brown, Buford, GA; great-grandson, Caleb Brown; sister, Dorothy Grace Higgins Morse, Cumming, GA; brother, Jerry Higgins, Sugar Hill, GA; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, CeCelia and John Davis, Buford; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Born was born on February 28, 1943 in Buford, GA where she was a life-long resident.  She was a 1960 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA.  Mrs. Born was retired from Georgia Shoe company in Flowery Branch, GA in the bookkeeping and accounting department.  She was a life-long member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church, Sugar Hill, GA. She loved reading, crossword puzzles and gardening with her flowers.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Reverend Zachary Brown and Eulogy by Angy Lamb officiating.  Interment will be at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA   The Family will Receive Friends, on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
