Agustin Matias Jose

Agustin Matias Jose, age 77 of Cornelia, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

Born in Posa, Guatemala on August 30, 1943, Mr. Jose was the son of the late Pascual Matias and Micaela Jose.  He was retired from Regal Manufacturing and was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Jose is preceded in death by brothers Jose Matias and Matias Matias.

Survivors include his wife Micaela Miguel Andres, children Gabino Matias (Maria Mateo), Francisco Matias (Angelina Matias), Apolonia Matias, Florindo Matias (Candeloria Andres), Delfino Matias (Juana Pascual), Lucio Matias (Marina Matias), Mario Matias, Maria Miguel (Carlos Pascual), Oscar Matias (Maggie Matias) and Jose Matias (Maria Matias), as well as 31 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 9:00 AM, Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Hillside Gardens Cemetery with Father Jose Luis Hernandez-Ayala, officiating.
