Clyde Watkins

Clyde Watkins, age 92,  of Demorest, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Mr. Watkins was born on Saturday, March 17th, 1928 in Baldwin, Georgia to the late William and Ethel Watson Watkins.  He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a retired school bus driver. He was a member of Baldwin Baptist Church and a member of the Odd Fellows. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters and was the last of his immediate family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Brenda Cash Watkins, Demorest, daughter and son-in-law, Debi and Jesse Jones, Cornelia, son and daughter-in-law, David and Laura Kytle, Mt. Airy, grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Kalan Jones, John David Kytle, and great grandchild, Houston Knox Kytle.  

A private family service will be held.
