Daniel was born on July 27, 1961 in Durango, Mexico to the late Francisco Garcia and Clemencia Hernandez. Daniel worked for Polo Golf and Country Club in Cumming, Ga. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, grandchild, Tony Rodriguez, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.

No one can walk onto the grounds of Polo Golf and Country Club and not think of Daniel Garcia. He always had the biggest smile on his face and no matter what kind of mood you're in, you had to smile back at him. The Members of Polo Fields said he ensured that they had the most well-kept facilities.  Everyone at Polo knew him so well, and loved him ... not just because of his work ethic, but because of the joy he brought them.  He was the heart of Polo.  Not only was he a hero at work, he was a hero at home. He truly is an unsung hero to so many people. He will be forever missed.
