Glenn Pirkle, 66, of Maysville, GA, formerly of Buford, GA, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Earl Pirkle and Pastor Storey Tate will officiate. Interment will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford. The family will receive friends Friday, January 15, 2021 from 11 AM – 2 PM at the funeral home. Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Pirkle, and grandson, Denver Mathis. He is survived by his wife, Susan Pirkle, Maysville; children, Joel Pirkle (Jenn), Talmo, Jennifer Pirkle (David), Maysville, James Pirkle (Amanda), Buford, Jill Mathis (Jones), Maysville; grandchildren, Jason Bennett (Melissa), Cale Mathis (Kallie), Jordan Pirkle (Ricky), Emily Thompson, Hunter Pirkle, Harry Pirkle, Aden Prikle, Dillon Thompson, Gavin Pirkle, Jessie Mathis, Nathan Pirkle; great grandchildren, Ava Grace Mathis, Lanier Bennett; mother, Sue Pirkle Harrison, Buford, brothers and sisters, Paul Pirkle (Susan), Buford, Earl Pirkle (Sherry), Flowery Branch, Diane Pirkle, Buford, Carol Goin (Doug), Merritt Island, FL; extended family, Patrick Palmer and Stephen House. Glenn was born in Jacksonville, FL but lived most of his life in Buford. He was self employed as an electrician and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
