Mr. Marvin Luther Fowler, age 75 of Damascus Road, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his residence.
A son of the late Resper Gordon and Jenny Wiley Fowler, he was born June 12, 1945 in Fulton County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Gwinnett County and in Banks County since 2005. He was a retired auto mechanic, service writer and shop foreman and a dump truck owner. He was a member of Tates Creek Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. He enjoyed restoring antique cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Fowler.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Gail Patrick Fowler of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Mark Conrad of Atlanta and Kimberly and Keith Kerstann of Avondale Estates; son, Douglas Fowler of Toccoa; three grandchildren, Isabella, Tabitha and Jacob; sister, Faithie Greene of Acworth.
Graveside services will be Friday, January 15, 2021, 11 O’clock a.m. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Douglas Fowler, Mark Conrad, Keith Kerstann, Mark Hubner, Charles Alford and Marshall Bannister.
Due to the health and well-being of our community, social distancing must be observed. Masks are encouraged.
