Dorothy Hudson Anderson

Mrs. Dorothy Hudson Anderson, age 85 of Furman Street, Toccoa passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Walter C. and Della Frady Hudson, she was born August 2, 1935 in Clayton, Georgia having lived most of her life I Stephens County, Georgia. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest, Eddie, W.C. and Calvin Hudson and by three sisters, Trudy Hallford, Jessie Frady and Olivia Patterson.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherree Thomason of Toccoa; two sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Timothy Anderson and Mark and Betty Anderson both of Toccoa; two brothers and sister-in-law, Rev. Albert and Frances Hudson of Mt. Airy and Paul Hudson of Lavonia.

Graveside services will be Friday, January 15, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Albert Hudson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from noon until the service time. Due to the health and well-being of our community, social distancing must be observed. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Dorothy Hudson Anderson.
