Willie Faye Richey Smith

Willie Faye Richey Smith, age 83, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-eight years, Jack K. Smith; daughter-in-law, Janet Smith; and son-in-law, Jeff Bell.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Bobby “Skeeter” Smith, Hoschton, GA, Debra Smith Donnelly and husband, Mike, Americus, GA, Lisa Smith Bell, Buford, GA and Bryan and Mylinda Smith, Dawsonville, GA; thirty grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Martha Smith, Jefferson, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gerald and Jean Smith, Wathena, KS; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Smith was born June 30, 1937 in Commerce, GA. She was a 1955 graduate of Commerce High School in Commerce, GA. She was retired from Scientific Atlanta with over twenty years of service. Mrs. Smith attended North Gwinnett Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA. Faye was one of a kind, never met a stranger and enjoyed life to its fullest.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. 
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 12th from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
