Birdie Fred King

Birdie Fred King, age 82 of Alto, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. 

Born in Habersham County on June 25, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Cecil King and Delia Coley King. Mrs. King was a joyful person who loved to laugh and talk to people. She was a member of Alto Congregational Holiness Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ferris King and Lathan King. 

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Eric Mangum, Marcus & Terri Mangum and Todd & Kim Irvin all of Alto, Michael & Tonia Irvin of Cornelia; grandchildren and spouses, Jason & Natasha Mangum of Atlanta, Ethan & Haley Irvin of Texas, Brei Irvin of Alto; great-grandchildren, Aleaha Mangum, Devin Mangum, Robert Mangum, Tatiana Hammock, Kadin Mangum, Elizabeth Mangum, Riggins Irvin and James Irvin; great-great grandchild, Malachai Mangum. 

A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating.
