Larry Kimsey Beck, Sr.

Mr. Larry Kimsey Beck, Sr. 72, of Lula, GA., passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.

A private graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. There will be a private family visitation at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Born on February 4, 1948 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Harvey and Elsie Pierce Beck. He was retired from Taylor Freezer where he was a Technician. Mr. Beck was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Beck is preceded in death by his half-brother, Gary Grizzell.

Mr. Beck is survived by his wife of 29 years, Elizabeth Beck of Lula; son, Larry Beck, Jr.  of Lula; step-children, Larry Davis of Flowery Branch, Laura Loggins (Ryan) of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Caige Loggins of Flowery Branch, Cora Loggins of Flowery Branch; brother, Charles Beck, Sr. of Lula; niece, Carla Chandler of Clermont; and nephew, Charles “Gene” Beck, Jr. of Clermont.
