Amie Nicole Broome Baird, age 41, of Gainesville, GA passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, while in hospice care Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
She was a loving daughter, wife, sister, and mother.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Johnson Poole, grandmother, Myrlon Poole, and grandfather, Ben Poole.
Amie is survived by father and stepmother, Ronald and Mae Broome; husband, Joseph Baird; brothers, Kerby Broome, Gary Broome, Jamie Broome, and Brandon Broome; children, AnaLeigh Whitfield (17), Joselyn Baird (6); Step children, Melody Baird (18), Makayla Baird (16), and Ethan Baird (15).
Amie loved the Lord and was very strong in her faith. Singing and doing hair was what she loved to do the most. Amie was a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church in Pendergrass. She resided in Gainesville, Georgia and was a licensed cosmetologist and a stay at home mom. She loved and was loved by all of her children, family, and everyone around her.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Pond Fork Baptist Church in Pendergrass.
Pastor Johnny Knight and Pastor Chris Hulsey will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Baird Maxwell Cemetery in Nicholson, GA.
The family will receive friends at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
