Angela Martino Pascarella, 1935- 2020, began her new life in Christ on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2020.
Angela was born in North Evans, New York on December 18, 1935. She was the devoted daughter of Joseph and Lena Martino of Ft. Her faith-filled family instilled in her values of love and immense pride in their Italian heritage.
Angela went on to instill these values in her own children. She married the love of her life, Vincent S. Pascarella in June of 1953. Angela was the proud mother to four children (3 sons and one daughter). They raised their family and lived a vibrant life filled with family and friends in Hamburg, New York. In 1974, they moved to Florida for 20 years before retiring in Gainesville, Georgia in 1994. Angela and Vince spent 46 years together, before Vince’s death in 1999.
Angela loved to travel the world and befriend every stranger she met along the way. A social butterfly and loving friend, she cherished people and her life is a testament of this. She loved building community and she will be missed by dear friends in some of her favorite communities including Grace Episcopal Church, Smokey Springs Independent Living Community, Lanier Women’s Club, Gainesville Theatre Alliance Wings group, Red Hats, Beta Sigma Phi Service Sorority, and Relay for Life team leader and volunteer. Always the life of the party, she had a passion for living her life to its fullest.
She was a devoted mother to her 4 children and their spouses: Catherine and Ferdinand Rosa of Gainesville, Georgia, Joe and Debbie Pascarella, of Holmes Beach, Florida, Vinnie and Janis Pascarella, of Oxford, Florida, and Mike and Cheri Pascarella of Mount Dora, Florida.
She was the loving grandmother to her 8 grandchildren and their spouses: Bradley and Lauren Pascarella, Leslie and Gary Johnson, Jessica and Eric Espinoza, Catrina and Rob O’Keefe, Jason & Freya Pascarella, Jennifer Pascarella, Skyler Pascarella, and Logan Pascarella.
She was loved beyond measure by her 7 beautiful great granddaughters: Gracie and Codie Pascarella, Rylee and Makenzie Johnson, Olivia and Cecilia Espinoza, and Callahan O’Keefe.
She is survived by many beloved God children, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Angela’s family and friends were her greatest blessings and she led a beautiful life loving so many.
