Ms. Louise H. Heath, age 83, of Decatur, Georgia passed away on January 2, 2021. She was born on July 5, 1937 in Buffalo, North Carolina to the late Jesse James Holder and the late Mildred Nelms. Louise was a graduate of Robbinsville Highschool. After graduation, she joined the US Marine Corps, where she served one tour. In 1966 she moved to Decatur, where she attended St. Thomas Moore Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She worked for 30 years at Royal Oldsmobile. She was a lifelong gardener, whose shade someone else still enjoys and whose blossoms still bloom. She will always be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was a friend to everyone, and would always greet you with a smile and kind words. She will truly be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her son, Scott Huffman; daughter-in-law, Kristi Kolby; grandchildren, Dylan Huffman, and Delaney Huffman; sisters, Margret Holder, Kay Holder, and Carol Holder; nieces, Regina, Michelle, and Melissa; and nephew, Michael.
It was Ms. Heath's wishes to be cremated. The family will have a private memorial service in the near future.
