Mrs. Tracy Painter Rogers, age 47, of Homer, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021. She was born on February 11, 1973 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Wayne Painter and the late Irma Simmons. Tracy will always be remembered as an incredibly strong woman and a loving mother of four. She was the true definition of a “go getter” and there was nothing she couldn't do or fix, whether it be a comforting talk with one of her children, or fixing a front door for a neighbor in need. One thing that held true throughout Tracy's entire life was simply that if you were a friend of Tracys, you indeed had a great friend.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Amos and Faye Simmons; paternal grandparents, Charlie and Lola Painter; and uncle, Leroy “Buck” Simmons.
She is survived by her children, Bailey Rogers (Hunter Mathis) of Carnesville, Bre (Christopher) Miller of Dahlonega, Amos “Kade” Rogers of Homer, and Kooper Rogers of Homer; brother and sister-in-law, Stacy (Shannon) Painter of Flowery Branch; stepmother, Dianna Painter of Dahlonega; and grandchildren, Case Mathis, Charley Owens, and Weston Miller, as well as one on the way. She is also survived by sister, Jody Jarrard Anderson of Dahlonega.
