Bobby Mitchell Ward

Mr. Bobby Mitchell Ward, age 84 of Buena Vista Drive, Eastanollee passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his residence.

A son of the late Everett M. and Clela Barnes Ward, he was born August 27, 1936 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived most of his life. He was employed with WABCO for a number of years and later retired from Aeroquip. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Ora Lee and Early Rider and by a brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Jackie Ward.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Joann Cobb Ward; daughters, Gaylene Ward of Athens, Georgia and Gina Mumley (Phillip Kelley) of Toccoa; son, Mitchell Ward of Eastanollee; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Mumley, Joni and Kyler Kelly; two great-grandchildren, Loghan Ramsey and Levi Keeling; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Betty Ward of Bishop, Georgia; sister-in-law, Arveline Griffin of Toccoa.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 5, 2021, 11 O’clock a.m. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Dr. Jesse Colbert officiating.
