Mrs. Charlotte H. Vickers, 95, of Dacula, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, January 3, 2021 following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Dr. Bill Coates will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Born on March 18, 1925 in Moultrie, GA, she worked in various industries, however her most talked about was being a switchboard operator for Southern Bell. Mrs. Vickers was a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vickers is preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Vickers; sisters, Marjory Greene, Marie Davis and son, David Ray Vickers.
Mrs. Vickers is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Vickers Gustavel of Dacula; grandsons, John David Gustavel (Caitlin) of Maysville, A.J. Gustavel (Ashley) of Jefferson; granddaughter, Jordan Gustavel (Haley Ray) of Gainesville; great grandchildren, Lilah Grace Gustavel, John Dawson Gustavel, Avery Rae Gustavel and a host of loving relatives.
