Ricardo Lopez

Mr. Ricardo Lopez, age 67, of Gillsville, GA, died December 31, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home .Father Mark Starr will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Ricardo was born to Marcial Lopez Perez and Alfonsa Mercado Hernandez in Palmar Chico Edo. De, Mexico on January 24, 1953. He was of the Catholic faith and was retired from Kubota Manufacturing of America.

Mr. Lopez is survived by his wife of 40 years, Ignacia Sanchez de Lopez; sons and daughters in law, Homero and Johana Lopez, Edgar and Kristy Lopez; daughter, Anaiz Lopez; son, Marco Lopez all of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Perla and Mack Garrison of Lula and a host of other relatives.
