John Lee Kastner, age 77 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020.
Mr. Kastner was born February 9, 1943 in Habersham County to the late Grady and Fannie Ruth Kastner. John was a member of Amy’s Creek Baptist Church and was employed by Johnson Railroad Service as a mechanic. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Wilson Kastner, daughter, Tiffany Kastner, siblings, Junior Kastner, Della Mae Kastner, Charles Kastner and Rebecca Kastner.
Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Graham Thomas, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, John and April Kastner, Jr., Cleveland; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Kastner; grandchildren, Hannah Autry, McKenzie Thomas, Connor Kastner, Abby Kastner, Ashlyn Thomas and Brody Kastner; siblings and spouses, Doris Wylan; Edgar and Linda Kastner; Ruthlene and Curtis Taylor; James and Gail Kastner, Rita Watson and Delores and Mike Foster; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joanne and Raymond Jude, Lisa Wilson, Cathy Williamson, Doug Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, January 4, 2021 at Amy’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Eddie Tanner and the Rev. Mike Irvin will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
