Carol Batey

Ms. Carol Batey, age 67 of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Carol was born July 15, 1953 and was the daughter of the late Carolyn Mote Timms and Paul Timms. She graduated from Johnson High School and was also a graduate of Brenau University. She was retired from the Hall County Board of Education and completed her retirement from Chicopee Woods Elementary School.

Carol is survived by her brother, Mike and Beth Timms, brother, Danny and Stephanie Batey of Waco, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, W.D. Mote and Ion Mote.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
