Charley had a larger than life personality. His laugh was infectious, and he went out of his way to make everyone feel welcome. He touched so many people in some small way throughout his short but memorable life. He had a great big smile, gentle eyes, caring heart, and loved unconditionally.
His enthusiastic spirit poured into every aspect of his life. He graduated from Bunn High School and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in finance and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Piedmont College in Demorest, GA. He was very passionate about his career in real estate and worked as a sales consultant at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. His educational background in finance, combined with his outgoing personality made the perfect combination to guide people towards a home that truly felt like a home. Like nearly anyone he met, his clients became instant friends. His experience and expertise landed him a spot on the University of North Georgia’s Finance Advisory Board in the Mike Cottrell College of Business. He was a trusted and beloved colleague that brought joy to all those he encountered.
Charley cared about people in the purest way. He loved them for who they were and wished the best for them, with sincerity and without asking anything in return. He was a gentle, loving, caring and wonderful person that has left a permanent mark on our hearts and will be supremely missed and forever remembered by his family and friends. Charley’s faith in Christ brought comfort and goodwill in his life and will continue to do so in his passing.
