He is preceded in death by his parents William and Dianne Mayo.

William is survived by his loving wife Debra Mayo of Dahlonega, Georgia. His children Justin Mayo of Waycross, Georgia, Zachary Bianchi (Sanja) of Cumming, Georgia, and Christopher Bianchi of Clarkesville, Georgia. His sister and brother Kelly Portwood (Seth) of McDonough, Georgia and Bobby Brown of St. Simons, Georgia. William has two loving grandchildren Mia and Olivia Bianchi of Cumming, Georgia. He has two nephews Matthew and Forest Portwood of McDonough, Georgia.
