Gregory Allen Loughmiller, 60, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2020 at home in Suwanee, GA.
Greg was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Doris and Orval Loughmiller Jr. on March 10,1960. He married Jane (Brooks) Loughmiller on October 8, 1988. Greg was predeceased by his parents Orval and Doris Loughmiller. He is survived by his wife, Jane; his children Alex Loughmiller, Erica Carroll (Jordan Carroll), Austin Loughmiller (Madison Loughmiller), Ethan Loughmiller; brothers Terry Loughmiller, Dennis Loughmiller; and grandson Lucas Carroll.
Friends and family, visitation for Greg will be Tuesday, December 29, from 5 pm til 8 pm and Wednesday, December 30, from 9 am til 10:30 am. Service will follow at 11 am, he is at Ingram’s Funeral Home in Cumming.
Greg was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Greg enjoyed coaching his children when they were younger, spending time with family, and refereeing football in the fall. Anyone who knew him well, knew they could find him under the Friday night lights any chance he got. Working in the IT industry for 38 years, Greg was able to travel and see parts of the world he otherwise wouldn’t have seen.
In his 60 short years, he learned how to make a connection with everyone with whom he interacted. Our family could never go anywhere without Greg seeing someone he either had a connection with or knew personally. It’s impossible to summarize the impact he had on his family, his friends, and his community. He will be dearly missed by many.
