Jose Gomez-Ruiz

Mr. Jose Gomez-Ruiz, 60, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church. Father Hernan Quevedo will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral home on Tuesday, December 29th from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on December 10, 1960 in Guanajuato, Mexico, he was the son of the late Miguel Gomez and to Margarita Ruiz. He was employed with Kubota and of the Catholic faith.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Mr. Gomez is survived by his wife, Alejandra Ruiz-Gomez; sons, Alejandro Gomez. Cristian Gomez; daughters, Catalina Gomez, Margarita Gomez; brothers, Martin Gomez, Juan Gomez, Miguel Gomez, Nicolas Gomez, Ramon Gomez, Guadalupe Gomez; sisters, Teresa Gomez, Encarnacion Gomez; mother, Margarita Ruiz and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
