Mr. George Paul Stout, 61, of Gainesville lost his fight with cancer and went to be with Jesus on Friday, December 25, 2020.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2020 at Concord Baptist Church. Rev. Alan Morris and Rev. Randy Williams will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church after the service.
Born on March 1, 1959 in Owensboro, KY, he was the son of James C. Stout Jr. and the late Patsy Leet Stout. George was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Clermont. He was the owner of Stout Grading, Inc. He was an avid fisherman, loved traveling and making people laugh.
In addition to his mother, George is preceded in death by his father in law, Waymon Cambron.
Mr. Stout is survived by his wife, Carla Stout of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Ben and Andrea Stout of Ft. Myers, FL; daughter and son in law, Kimberly and Boyd Franklin of Gainesville; four grandchildren who fondly called him “Mister”, Madison Franklin, Nicholas Stout, Bryson Stout, Corben Franklin; sister, Grace Zuerner of MI; brother, Jim C. Stout of Macon; mother in law, Ella Mae Cambron; sisters in law, Brenda Likens and Debbie Hardesty and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
