Diann Patton, age 75, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020, following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. Diann was born in Gainesville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Owen Patton and Annette (Fountain) Patton. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Clifton Patton. Diann graduated from Gainesville High School where she was known for her athletics. From there she went to Lanier Tech for cosmetology and onto owning and operating Hairport on Enota for many years. Later she moved to Hair Dimensions where she cut hair for many Gainesvillians throughout her career. Diann always loved and put her children and grandchildren first and were their biggest fans. Whether at a ball game or dance recital she always made her presence known in support of her family. She was an outgoing personality that was always up for a fun time and made anytime better. She had a love for the outdoors and loved growing up and living on Lake Lanier.
Diann is survived by her daughter Candace Clark, her son Chris Clark, her son Shane Clark and daughter in law Kara Clark; grandchildren, Callie, Buddy, Hannah and Evan Clark; brothers, Jeff Patton and Chris Patton and a number of other family and friends also survive.
Flowers will be accepted.
